How to Cure Osteoporosis?

 By
So what is osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis is a "disease" characterised by low bone mass and deterioration of bone strength. Fragile bones are more prone to fracture. Common fractures include wrist, arm, leg and ribs, as well as the hips and spine.

To make you better understand this "disease" I build this article around questions.

First of all, do we need to take it seriously?

Recent statistics show that, osteoporosis is one of the top 5 health issues in the developed world. On top of the list, people looking for "osteoporosis treatment" is Australia followed by United States, India, Canada, United kingdom.

How much does it cost the taxpayers?

In the United States due to osteoporosis fractures the direct expenses were $ 20 billion in 1988, and 10 years later there were 35 billion dollars.

What determines the integrity of bones?

All medical students study this in the second year of the university. But even the everyday people know this, it does not require a medical degree.

It is very simple.

First of all, to get enough calcium, since this gives a majority of bone mass, providing the strength. Beside, it needs sufficient amount of vitamin D as well. Vitamin D is crucial for the calcium, to facilitate the absorption from the guts. In addition, Vitamin D is essential in order to make calcium integrate into the bones.

Is this simple knowledge enough to have healthy bones?

It does not appear to be enough. We need a little extra to have the whole picture. Quite a lot of vitamin C is also needed so the body able to produce sufficient quantities of collagen which is one of the bones basic building material. On the other hand vitamin C is needed to help calcium absorb in the guts from the diet.

Recent studies underline that in the building and maintenance of healthy bones other vitamins and minerals are also key elements.

Dr Michael Colgan writes the following: " Vitamin C can help improve calcium absorption as much as 100%. It is suspected that calcium interacts with the majority of 58 other important nutrients, which make up the human body. Recent studies suggest that multivitamin supplements and minerals result a much higher bone density, than calcium taken alone or calcium taken with vitamin D."

Is it this simple?

Yes indeed, it's too simple, just like drinking water. In order to prevent dehydration of the body, I need to drink enough water. In order to have strong, healthy bones I need to eat enough calcium, vitamin D, vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals.

This is it. There is nothing else you need to know about healthy bones.

Now, you may ask: If so easy then why is a common "disease" the osteoporosis?

I like to quote Dr Michael Colgan here:

"As already shown, our food scarce in most of the vitamins and minerals. The body detects these gaps, enhance appetites, which leads us to eat more, and thereby obtain the missing nutrients. The lack of one single nutrient is enough to make us fat like a pigs."

Just a few examples of:

vitamin reduction in food from 1966

1966 1990

1.carrot 100% 60%
2.Peas 100% 46.7%
3.Milk 100% 5%
4.Cabbage 100% 5%

mineral reduction in cereals

1966 1990

wheat 100% 50%
barley 100% 37,7%
corn 100% 18,6%

This is the main reason that osteoporosis is a common disease.

With the current agricultural practices, where nutrient are no longer a concern, the situation is not improving but rather getting worse.

Why osteoporosis is more common in older age?

There are several factors. It is not uncommon for people in older age, being worse nourished than before. Often eat less, eat foods that of often inferior quality. Moreover, as the body grows older, more vitamins, minerals and trace elements are required.

But beside the fragile bones, is there another reason for the frecquent fractures?

Researchers revealed astonishing information. Vitamin D is essential for proper muscle strength. An article from the renown English magazine- Current Medical Research and Opinion- states, "Several studies showed that low levels of vitamin D is related with muscle weakness, muscle pain, increase in the number of falls and the resulting increase in the number of fractures."

This means that people with low vitamin D levels have week muscles and their walk is wobbly. This is the ridiculous reason, so many people hurt themselves. If we came so far there is an other vital information related to Vitamin D that I like to share. You already now that Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption and in building healthy bones.

What happens when the body lacks this essential vitamin.

You may think that probably less calcium will get absorbed. The situation is much worse, in the lack of Vitamin D the bones start to DISSOLVE. The bones start to deteriorate.

And now comes the outrageous truth.

Doctors treated osteoporosis not with Calcium and Vitamin D but with medicine.

It is like giving medicine to a thirsty person, when he needs only water.

It is no wonder that the official mainstream science has no cure for this deficiency, as they treat it as a disease.

There are tens of billions of dollars spent on treating the symptoms.

I wonder if anyone could explain me how a medicine will replace the missing Calcium and Vitamin D.

These are the depths of hell.

The official slogan is that more research is needed.

Why these vitamins and minerals are not replaced?

Vitamins and minerals can not be sold with horrific margins, which are necessary for the pharmaceutical industry to pay
- doctors vacations
- the ongoing advertising
- astronomical salaries
- the hundreds of millions of dollars in fines(damages and fraud)

and the profit hungry shareholders.

They came up with magic formula. Calcium, Vitamin D and medicine together. Science has triumphed, they should receive some serious award.

It is hard to acknowledge mistakes and failure, on an exotic holiday sipping cocktails under the palm trees- all paid by the pharmaceutical industry.
